I crinkle my nose and eyes while I laugh

I poke fun at people

I give sarcastic remarks to people

But inside its always the same

That constant thump thump thump

That constant feeling in the chest

That travels up to my arms

That reaches to my toes

I close my eyes

And for the past few months

The same thing flashes in my eyes

Its like a messed up TV show

that plays the same rerun every time I shut my eyes

Its getting too much
